Toilet Tank Overflow
One of the leading sources of residential water losses is overflow from the toilet tank. If a water pipe is damaged and not transporting water as it should, it can cause the toilet to keep running after it's been flushed. That is what happened in this situation. The toilet kept running and running until it had drenched multiple rooms of the house. Fortunately, our team was able to salvage the drywall and baseboards and then dry out the moist area with minimal demolition. Once the carpet was removed, it was decided that no further demo was needed to effectively mitigate this room.
